Flags in honor of Veterans Day at the Base Cemetery. Meet at 1:00pm Sunday, November 6, South Gate. Look for an email from Assistant Scoutmaster Willoughby with more details.

Merit Badges

Mrs. Talkington has offered to teach Personal Management and Family Life merit badges at her home 2:00-6:00pm Sunday, November 6. Please check your roster for her contact information and be sure to let her know you plan to attend (if you didn't already at the troop meeting Thursday).

Rescheduled Patrol Leaders Council Meeting

PLC will meet to plan future scouting events at the Talkington home, 6:00-7:30pm Sunday, November 6. Check your roster for address and phone number if needed. Pizza will be served!

Merit Badge Opportunities

Looking for opportunities to earn merit badges in addition to those available after each troop meeting? If so, consider these offered throughout Mid America Council.

War Eagle Merit Badge Clinics

All Boy Scouts are invited to LDS Church, 1201 W. Clifton Avenue in Sioux City for War Eagle Merit Badge Clinics offered on the following dates - November 19, December 17, 2011 and February 18, 2012, March 17, April 14, May 19, 2012 All workshops are offered from 9 am to Noon. Workshops are FREE, but pre-registration is required in order to make proper preparation and convey merit badge specific information. Strategic Air & Space Museum Overnights

All Boy Scouts, leaders and parents come take a tour of the SASM, 28210 West Park Hwy, Ashland, NE. Overnight programs start at 6:30 pm for check-in. Cost is $32 per Scout; $15 per adult and includes:

Aviation - Complete requirements on the following dates - November 11, 2011, December 2, 2011, February 24, 2012, March 9, April 13, November 9, December 7.

Space Exploration - Construct a rover, and complete the requirements for the Space Exploration Merit Badge on the following dates - January 13. 2012, March 30, 2012, November 30, 2012.

Engineering Merit Badge Day

Fall Camporee and New Tents

Troop, Great planning session and meeting tonight! I believe the meals have been planned don't forget to pay your Patrol Leader or Grubmaster $12.
If you are interested the SPL, Jake L., Burk G. (Quartermaster) and Mr. Rogers needs scouts to assist in preparing the new tents for the Fall Camporee. We will meet at Mr. Rogers house 2312 Robbie Ave, Bellevue, NE 68005 Saturday at 13:00 hours.

SPL has quite a few items to go over for the next couple of weeks like CAMPING! Fall Camporee, the theme is Baden Powell Boot Camp which is in two weeks so bring your pen to fill out your permission slips and money for your patrol leader or grub masters.
Ask your Patrol leader what Start, Stop, Continue is all about.
