Troop 474 and Troop 60's  Boy Scouts help move items to higher ground at Freedom Park.

Freedom Park needs help to prepare for the imminent flooding

Troop, we will be meeting today at the Overflow parking lot at 1200 hours to go to Freedom Park in Omaha to assist with moving items before the Naval museum area becomes flooded.
Service hours will be award to Scouts that assist. Adults are also welcome to drive and help. Please wear summer uniform.

Summer Uniform

Scouts during the summer months when we don't meet at the school we wear our Troop T-shirts and scout pants (if you have them). We still tuck in our shirts and look sharp! Remember to have Troop Pride.
We will still need our uniform for Summer camp and when ever we travel to and from camp. No Neckerchiefs are worn to campouts.

Old Towne Bellevue, Mission Blvd. turn right on Hancock follow out of town, turn right on Industrial Dr.
2 majors objectives
1. Inventory the trailer so the Scouts have the equipment they will need in the future and check tents for damage and repair.
2. Discuss Summer camp, or Parent Orientation very helpful in preparing scouts for summer camp.

May Campout Update

Hiking opportunity for all scouts, bring your backpack. If you haven't completed your five mile hike, we have a hike for you.
  The members of the troop that are going to Philmont will be camping and backpacking, I like to think of it as a shake down trip for the real thing. If you are 1st Class and above and want to join the Philmont trek shakedown please let me know ASAP as you will have to get different food for Saturday night campout.
1st Class and below we will have a great time working on Totin Chip and Fireman Chit as well as other activities to get you to First Class.

May Campout

We are preparing for another camp out. I will try to have the permission slip up by tomorrow night if you didn't pick one up at the meeting tonight.
Next week be prepared to bring your $12 for food to your patrol leader and finish up your duty roster and food menus.

Spring Camporee

Its raining! Be Prepared dress for the weather. hats and gloves, bring it all.
Sun will come out Saturday it should be awesome!
Remember to tuck in your tent's footprint (tarp) so you can't see it or you will be swimming in the morning.
Let's meet at the Willow lake golf overflow parking lot at 5:00pm so we can leave by 5:30pm
